Maybe you are interested in this line of work or maybe you are just curious of what does a life advisor normally do when it comes to life insurance industry.

 

This time I will be sharing things with you, what does financial advisor do and while sharing this you might be interested in being part of financial advisor industry. Just like me I have been a financial advisor before in Allianz PNB but that was just an ample period of time. So what do we need to know first?

 

The first thing that financial advisor's do is to attend a routine of training because everyone even the tenured ones are still learning, almost every week we have different programs that our company provides more than once a week, we have our own streaming, we meet as a team.

 

Ultimately, because we are here to train and educate our client, so it’s advisable that we are fully attained with knowledge in our service and we get those knowledge by meeting variety of programs because this is our profession and our career so we have to be devoted in this by time, manner, and by heart.

 

Meaning even if there’s client that are older than you or wealthier than you it doesn’t mean that you can’t handle them as your client and provide help when they needed it the most, and since this is your profession you are there to teach them really just how to make money like if you clients business owners, managers, executives but this will be your expertise they will respect you because of that, you really need to attend training within your company or outside the company and all the other organization programs.

 

This is one of the major job description of being a financial advisor is really to attend training every chances that we have, cause there are time that you are downhearted, uninspired, and when you attend training you get ignited and empowered once again.




 

Prospecting a Leads Generation, this is the headache I got after I was certified as a financial advisor. As I can remember I take down notes of names of my relatives specially my friends, manager, supervisor, old friend of mine just to get my first leads, getting some leads is not real easy it comes with sweat and effort, research, analyzing what type of policies does suits your new prospect. Most of the time they will not come to you willingly, you can’t just sit down there and wait for them to approach you.  Meaning to say it’s a profession that you should be one to offer that’s why you have to be extra effort in marketing your product.

 

Setting appointments, you have to put people in front of you like what I said earlier most of the people won’t approach and ask for the product, you have to convince them to make an appointment with you willingly.

 

Know your customer and educate them, you have to understand what does your customer needs, you can make a sort of assessment while making them feel comfortable of what they are hearing from you and you should sound like you know what you are offering in doing this you have to be attentive and be sympathetically inclined with your clients opinion, and make them feel that you are not selling anything you are there to help them with their needs.

 

Clients servicing, this is where the tough is going if selling is easy you might feel different about this, you have to be connected, and updated to your clients you can’t just leave them in a cold shoulder after they bought policy from you, in this industry you shall serve them till their last ''Till death do us part" as we say, from the start until they claim it.

 

Recruit and Train as you go further in this profession you will have that urge to help other people finding their financial freedom as you find it yourself.
